tuesday-text-v2

Thought to share: worship is not for ME. I gain nothing from your admiration of ME. It does not change ME or MY position. It does not prop ME up. I do not need your praise. I AM neither egocentric nor egotistical.
However, worship changes you. You gain everything by looking at MY greatness. It changes your position by shifting your perspective, giving you insight to how great and mighty I AM and how small your problems are in comparison. Praise allows you to step into MY Presence and encounter ME. And as you encounter ME, I hold you up. MY arms enfold you and support you.
You need to praise and worship ME because worship takes you into MY Presence and MY Presence changes both you and your circumstances.
Psalm 22:3 (NLT) Yet You are holy, enthroned on the praises of Israel.
(KJV) But Thou art holy, O Thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel.
Acts 16:25-26 (NLT) Around midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the other prisoners were listening. Suddenly, there was a massive earthquake, and the prison was shaken to its foundations. All the doors immediately flew open, and the chains of every prisoner fell off!

tuesday-text-v2

Thought to share: I AM taking care of you. I know this isn’t always easy to see. When the road gets rough, the path gets steep and conditions are looking worse, it’s hard to believe I AM with you. You think I AM not listening  to your prayers. You think I don’t care.

Let ME assure you – I hear you. I hear every word you say. Every thought you think. Every emotion you can’t express. I care about you. I care about how you feel. What your going through. And I AM taking care of you. And every detail.  I leave nothing undone. I AM here. And I’ve got you.
1John 5:14-15 (NLT) And we are confident that He hears us whenever we ask for anything that pleases Him. And since we know He hears us when we make our requests, we also know that He will give us what we ask for.
Philippians 4:6-7 (Msg) Don’t fret or worry. Instead of worrying, pray. Let petitions and praises shape your worries into prayers, letting God know your concerns. Before you know it, a sense of God’s wholeness, everything coming together for good, will come and settle you down. It’s wonderful what happens when Christ displaces worry at the center of your life.
