Thought to share: I AM on your side. I AM for you. I AM working on your behalf; defending you, guarding you, protecting you, carrying you. When the enemy attacks you, when circumstances seem to be stacked against you and you feel the world is in opposition to you – know that I AM with you and I AM your shield.

Romans 8:31-34 (MSG) With God on our side like this, how can we lose? If God didn’t hesitate to put everything on the line for us, embracing our condition and exposing Himself to the worst by sending His own Son, is there anything else He wouldn’t gladly and freely do for us? And who would dare tangle with God by messing with one of God’s chosen? Who would dare even to point a finger? The One who died for us—who was raised to life for us!—is in the presence of God at this very moment sticking up for us. Do you think anyone is going to be able to drive a wedge between us and Christ’s love for us? There is no way!

Isaiah  46:4 (NLT)  I will be your God throughout your lifetime— until your hair is white with age. I made you, and I will care for you. I will carry you along and save you.

Psalm 3:3 (TPT) But in the depths of my heart I truly know that You, Yahweh, have become my Shield; You take me and surround me with Yourself. Your glory covers me continually. You lift high my head when I bow low in shame.

Thought to share: The cure for worry is to look at ME. Inspect MY faithfulness. Dig into MY goodness. Explore the vastness of MY great power and authority. Review MY ability to do the impossible. Examine MY deep love for you. As you inspect MY character, you’ll find worry dissipates like the dew on a bright sunny day.

Matthew 6:25-34 (MSG) “If you decide for God, living a life of God-worship, it follows that you don’t fuss about what’s on the table at mealtimes or whether the clothes in your closet are in fashion. There is far more to your life than the food you put in your stomach, more to your outer appearance than the clothes you hang on your body. Look at the birds, free and unfettered, not tied down to a job description, careless in the care of God. And you count far more to him than birds.

 “Has anyone by fussing in front of the mirror ever gotten taller by so much as an inch? All this time and money wasted on fashion—do you think it makes that much difference? Instead of looking at the fashions, walk out into the fields and look at the wildflowers. They never primp or shop, but have you ever seen color and design quite like it? The ten best-dressed men and women in the country look shabby alongside them.

 “If God gives such attention to the appearance of wildflowers—most of which are never even seen—don’t you think he’ll attend to you, take pride in you, do his best for you? What I’m trying to do here is to get you to relax, to not be so preoccupied with getting, so you can respond to God’s giving. People who don’t know God and the way he works fuss over these things, but you know both God and how he works. Steep your life in God-reality, God-initiative, God-provisions. Don’t worry about missing out. You’ll find all your everyday human concerns will be met.

“Give your entire attention to what God is doing right now, and don’t get worked up about what may or may not happen tomorrow. God will help you deal with whatever hard things come up when the time comes.

Thought to share: Don’t rush the process. Don’t hurry through the journey. If you hurry through this season, you’ll miss all I AM doing now.  And, I AM doing incredible things while you wait. I AM developing character in you. I AM revealing MY heart to you. I AM demonstrating MY faithfulness to you. I AM allowing you to experience MY goodness as you see the perfection of MY timing. Slow down. Relax. Enjoy. It makes the process so much better.

Psalm 27:14 (TPT) Here’s what I’ve learned through it all: Don’t give up; don’t be impatient; be entwined as one with the LORD. Be brave and courageous, and never lose hope. Yes, keep on waiting—for he will never disappoint you! 

Psalm 37:7 (NLT) Be still in the presence of the LORDand wait patiently for Him to act.
Don’t worry about evil people who prosper or fret about their wicked schemes.

Psalm 130:5 (Amp) I wait [patiently] for the LORD, my soul [expectantly] waits, And in His word do I hope.

Psalm 33:20 (Amp) We wait [expectantly] for the LORDHe is our help and our shield.

Thought to share: You endeavor to like difficult people. You’re striving to be agreeable. You’re working so hard at getting along with others. And you’re exhausted. Instead of trying to do something you cannot, let ME change your heart. Allow ME to fill you with compassion so that you see with MY eyes, hear with MY ears and feel with MY heart. When you are in sync with ME, you’ll find it’s much easier to love those difficult people in your life.

Psalm 51:10 (TPT) Create a new, clean heart within me. Fill me with pure thoughts and holy desires, ready to please You.

Ezekiel 11:19 (Amp)And I will give them one heart [a new heart], and put a new spirit within them. I will take from them the heart of stone, and will give them a heart of flesh [that is responsive to My touch],

Jeremiah 24:7 (Msg) And I’ll give them a heart to know Me. They’ll be My people and I’ll be their God, for they’ll have returned to Me with all their hearts.

Thought to share: Be encouraged! You lack nothing – you have everything! You have peace. You have joy. You have strength. You have victory. You have hope. You have all of these things and so much more because you have ME. You don’t have to wait for them. You don’t have to earn them. You don’t have to qualify for them.  In ME, they are yours in abundance. They belong to you. Choose to apply them.

Romans 8:37 (TPT) Yet even in the midst of all these things, we triumph over them all, for God has made us to be more than conquerors, and His demonstrated love is our glorious victory over everything!

John 16:33 (TPT) And everything I’ve taught you is so that the peace which is in Me will be in you and will give you great confidence as you rest in Me. For in this unbelieving world you will experience trouble and sorrows, but you must be courageous, for I have conquered the world!”

Matthew 12:21 (NLT) And His [Jesus] name shall be the hope of all the world.
