Philippians 4:6-7 (NLT) Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank Him for all he has done.  Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.

tuesday text v1 3000x1704

Thought to share: A thankful heart is a happy heart. But, it’s hard to be thankful when all you focus on is the negative. When you constantly look at what you don’t like about your spouse, your job, the government, leadership or anything else in your life, it becomes impossible to appreciate all I have given you! Give ME everything that you don’t like, everything that disturbs you, everything that grieves you. I will take care of these things. You begin to focus on all I AM, all I have done, I AM doing and in faith all I will do. Appreciate MY faithfulness. Be grateful for MY love, grace and mercy. In thankfulness, celebrate MY goodness. You’ll find your heart is much happier.

1Thessalonians 5:18 (TPT)  And in the midst of everything be always giving thanks, for this is God’s perfect plan for you in Christ Jesus.

Ephesians 5:20 (NLT) And give thanks for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Colossians 3:15-16 (TPT) Let your heart be always guided by the peace of the Anointed One, who called you to peace as part of his one body. And always be thankful. Let the word of Christ live in you richly, flooding you with all wisdom. Apply the Scriptures as you teach and instruct one another with the Psalms, and with festive praises, and with prophetic songs given to you spontaneously by the Spirit, so sing to God with all your hearts!

tuesday text v1 3000x1704

Thought to share: Stop fighting life’s battles with your words. Stop attacking injustice with your reasoning. Stop coming against darkness with your weapons. You have chosen to fight some battles that are not yours to fight. You have chosen to fight necessary battles incorrectly with human tactics. It is not your responsibility to change the human mind or give them the correct perspective. Lay down your weapons and step into MY war room. Engage in battle through praise. Use the sword of the Spirit to piece the heavenlies. Your battle cry is MY Word – not yours.  The hearts of men are changed by MY Spirit and you partner with ME in this through prayer.  When you war MY way, the climate will shift and change will come. When you war MY way, I protect your heart and mind. Suit up and fight with ME.

Ephesians 6:10-18 (TPT)  Be supernaturally infused with strength through your life-union with the Lord Jesus. Stand victorious with the force of his explosive power flowing in and through you. Put on God’s complete set of armor provided for us, so that you will be protected as you fight against the evil strategies of the accuser!  Your hand-to-hand combat is not with human beings, but with the highest principalities and authorities operating in rebellion under the heavenly realms. For they are a powerful class of demon-gods and evil spirits that hold this dark world in bondage. Because of this, you must wear all the armor that God provides so you’re protected as you confront the slanderer, for you are destined for all things and will rise victorious. Put on truth as a belt to strengthen you to stand in triumph. Put on holiness as the protective armor that covers your heart. Stand on your feet alert, then you’ll always be ready to share the blessings of peace. In every battle, take faith as your wrap-around shield, for it is able to extinguish the blazing arrows coming at you from the Evil One! Embrace the power of salvation’s full deliverance, like a helmet to protect your thoughts from lies. And take the mighty razor-sharp Spirit-sword of the spoken Word of God. Pray passionately in the Spirit, as you constantly intercede with every form of prayer at all times. Pray the blessings of God upon all his believers.

tuesday text v1 3000x1704

Thought to share: why do you let the things of the world annoy you? Why do you let the drama of government or workplace politics suck you into its vortex? Why do you allow the behavior of people to push your buttons? Why do you allow society to consume you?Don’t waste your thoughts or energy. Instead, invest your attention in ME. Give ME all of your thoughts and I will help you sort through the barrage of things life is hurling at you. I will give you clarity and show you where to spend your emotions and energy – what to embrace and what to let go of. Together, we will journey into the center of peace and you will know rest.

Isaiah 26:3 (NLT) You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you, all whose thoughts are fixed on You!

Psalm 20:7 (Amp) Some trust in chariots and some in horses, But we will remember and trust in the name of the LORD our God. another way to say this is: some trust in (look to) the government or people to resolve the world’s problems, but we choose to trust in (look to) God because He is the answer. That’s a better way!

Hebrews 12:2 (TPT) We look away from the natural realm and we fasten our gaze onto Jesus who birthed faith within us and who leads us forward into faith’s perfection.

Matthew 11:28 (TPT) Are you weary, carrying a heavy burden? Then come to me. I will refresh your life, for I am your oasis.

tuesday text v1 3000x1704

Thought to share: Be real with ME. There is no need for you to approach ME wearing a mask or hiding behind your walls. When you come to ME – presenting ME with what you think I want to see and saying what you think I want to hear – you inhibit intimacy with ME. You keep ME at a distance and prevent ME from giving you what you need. Stop the facade and come to ME with open honesty and full transparency. I already know everything about you. I even know things about you that you are not aware of. Nothing you say will surprise or shock ME. You cannot make ME love you any more or less than I do. So be real and you’ll find our relationship much more rewarding.

1Samuel 16:7 (NLT) But the LORD said to Samuel, “Don’t judge by his appearance or height, for I have rejected him. The LORD doesn’t see things the way you see them. People judge by outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart.”

Psalm 139:1-4 (NLT) LORD, You have examined my heart and know everything about me. You know when I sit down or stand up. You know my thoughts even when I’m far away. You see me when I travel and when I rest at home. You know everything I do. You know what I am going to say even before I say it, LORD.

tuesday text v1 3000x1704

Thought to share: your true identity can only be found in ME. Your tendency is to define yourself by what you can do or what you know. The problem with this misconception is, if you discover you can’t do something as well as another or you realize you don’t know something, it throws you into a tailspin causing emotional distress and turmoil. Instead of defining yourself through your knowledge or skills, be defined by ME.  Let MY thoughts define you. Allow your identity to be wrapped up in ME.

1John 3:1 (Msg) What marvelous love the Father has extended to us! Just look at it—we’re called children of God! That’s who we really are.

Romans 8:16 (TPT) For the Holy Spirit makes God’s fatherhood real to us as he whispers into our innermost being, “You are God’s beloved child!”

Colossians 3:3 (NLT)  For you died to this life, and your real life is hidden with Christ in God.

tuesday text v1 3000x1704

Thought to share: Hope comes from ME alone. You’ll find many people and things that offer you hope, however; they are empty promises that only leave you empty-handed and more desperate than before. Stop looking for them to fill you with assurances and prop up your emotions. Instead, be filled with the confident expectation of what I have promised as you rest in MY faithfulness. Focus on all I have already done! This will cause hope to soar and fill your soul with joy. That is abundant living!

Psalm 33:20-22 (TPT) The Lord alone is our radiant hope and we trust in Him with all our hearts. His wrap-around presence will strengthen us. As we trust, we rejoice with an uncontained joy flowing from Yahweh! Let your love and steadfast kindness overshadow us continually, for we trust and we wait upon You!

Psalm 78:7 (NLT) So each generation should set its hope anew on God, not forgetting His glorious miracles and obeying His commands.

Psalm 39:7 (TPT) And now, God, I’m left with one conclusion: my only hope is to hope in You alone!
